Based in Sarcelles, AFP APPEL supports families across the Île-de-France region every day: school support, holiday camps, parenting help, and support for families in difficulty — all led by volunteers, in partnership with the Source de Vie evangelical churches.
AFP APPEL works to defend the material, financial and moral interests of families living in Île-de-France, particularly its members. It rejects all forms of discrimination and works alongside the UDAF of Val d'Oise and the National Federation of Protestant Family Associations.
Each local branch knows the families in its neighborhood and tailors support to their real needs.
Origin, beliefs, religion, family situation: the association welcomes every family that shares its mission.
Governed by the French law of 1 July 1901 and the Social Action and Family Code, led by an elected Board of Directors.
Children & youth: weekends and holiday camps for children, young people and families, school support and parenting help.
Support for families in difficulty: moral, material and administrative support, defending family rights.
Migrant families: language workshops to support integration and French language learning.
Youth mentoring: music, sports and arts workshops, housing support, and any activity within the association's mission.
To stay close to families, AFP APPEL opens branches in other towns across Val d'Oise. Each branch has its own page, with its own news and volunteer leads.
